Windows Infrastructure Admin / Platform Engineer

Job Description

* 10+ years of experience in Windows Build, Code Deployment and Windows Application troubleshooting functions
* Strong analytical, multitasking and prioritization skills
* Willing and able to work in a 24 X 7 environment including after hours and weekend support to support multiple time zones
* Understanding/experience with web application communication protocols – SOAP, HTTP, XML etc
* Excellent knowledge of core network services (DNS, SMTP, NTP, syslog, HTTP).
* Working knowledge of application setup, support, and configuration Expert knowledge of Windows operating systems with hands on experience in troubleshooting Linux application issues
* Hands on working Windows IIS administration
* Experience with infrastructure, application performance, and customer experience tools using Netcool, ITM, Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and SiteScope
* Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages: Java, .NET, Groovy, Python
* Broad understanding of tools and technologies: Jira, Source Control (like Git, Bitbucket), CI/CD tools including Jenkins
* Highly proficient with Database Technologies – Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
* Understanding of SAN/NAS storage, TCP/IP Networking, and Citrix
* Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, business environment
* PKI and Venafi Central Certificate Management experience
* Experience monitoring and managing servers and applications, and staying current on patches
* Debugging and troubleshooting skills involving Queue Managers, Network or application integration issues
* Experience in scheduling tools especially Autosys
* Ability to troubleshoot application batch runs and remediate issues
* Working knowledge of IAM processes in order to maintain application, server, database, and web level access management
* Business knowledge of loans and instruments processing is a plus
* Knowledge of containers, especially OpenShift is a plus
