Senior UNIX/Linux Engineering Program Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain and implement strategic plans for UNIX/inux systems across the organization go, global enronmen.
* Lead and mentor global team of UNIX/Linux engineers and administrators
* Ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ao uNinux initatyes with business objecives D
* Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management
* Identify and mitigate risks associated with UNIX/Linux infrastructure projects : Due contray paring ant eX all ayon or UN to environments

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bot years dexperin com uNi cince Internalm schoos, related fed: Master’s degree preferred
* 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a large, complex global environment
* Strong technical knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems, including Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu
* Expertise in UNIX/Linux infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl
* Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
* Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g.. Docker, Kubernetes)
* Excelient leadership and team management skills
* Strong organizational and time management abilities
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects
* Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (eig., JIRA, Confiuence)
* Relevant certifications such as Agile, PMP. ITIL RHCE, or LPIC-3 are highly desirabia.
