Team Profile:
Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for the Firm supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of the firm’s software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of our employees. Application and end user services are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database services.
Our Technology team provides technology support to our end user community. As part of these services, we are responsible and accountable for the end to end IT asset lifecycle, from procurement through disposal. It is critical to the Firm that accurate asset recording, inventory and auditing become part of the culture. This includes the movement and handling of data bearing IT assets between locations and through till disposal. Candidate(s) will be required to drive operational efficiencies, leverage tools, create dashboards and management reporting, as needed. Candidate(s) may also be required to have flexible work hours.
Job Profile:
The Workplace Support Services Communications & Content Design team is seeking a Communications Specialist to join its team. As a member of this team, you will use your exceptional writing skills to draft and distribute global communication as well as create and publish engaging end-user-facing technology support resources on internal channels.As the Communications Specialist, you will work closely with technology product owners and key stakeholders to communicate desktop and mobile end-user-impacting changes to employees. Your work will also increase awareness and benefits of the Firm’s enterprise technology solutions. You are expected to be a strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Your innovation, organization, and self-motivation with a keen interest in driving strategic messages that are clear, concise, and actionable for a global audience will ensure your success with the team.
Communications Specialist Responsibilities:
– Schedule and lead project kick-off calls to assess communication requests.
– Work with team and key internal stakeholders to develop communications and content design strategies.
– Work with key stakeholders to obtain communication requirements (e.g., support documentation, key dates, distribution lists).
– Develop wireframes and content to promote the adoption of various technology products.
– Handle initial drafts of communication and approval process.
– Manage communication calendar.
– Adhere to the Firm writing style guide, ensuring we produce high-quality, error-free content.
– Facilitate the distribution and reporting of end-user communication.
Communications Specialist Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
– A minimum of 5 years experience in the communications field.
– Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, HTML, SharePoint, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and XML is a plus.
