Agile Product Owner – Software Defined Networking
Job Description
As an experienced Agile Product Owner with specialization in Software Defined Networking, you’ll be executing tasks of both technical and strategic in nature that impact our customers, clients, and other internal and external business partners. Your expertise in analyzing complex network design requirements, capturing customer intent and desire, anticipating problems, and finding ways to mitigate risk and deliver solutions, will be key to successfully designing the program roadmap, productizing, and delivering high performance network products and features. By incorporating your knowledge of business drivers, you’ll affect change and execute development of innovative products and world-class user and customer experiences. You’ll partner closely with our business customers to understand and align network product offerings to their desires and vision. You will be responsible for driving results while working closely with network feature delivery teams to implement multiple, complex programs that span the breadth of the business; thus acting as both an advocate and trusted technology partner for the customer as well as product engineering. Qualifications:
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Cisco CCDP/IE level certification.
• Advanced knowledge in the following key areas: SDN/SD-WAN, Networking & Routing, Network Automation, Network Virtualization.
• Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices.
• Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to articulate customer needs internally so they can be translated into a finished product.
• Proven ability to structure business cases around a high-level strategic vision.
• Excellent communication skills, plus proven relationship building abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch, and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to articulate technical strategy in clear, concise, and understandable terms to senior management and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with business, product and architecture teams to define Next Gen Branch Network requirements and capabilities.
• Contribute in creating a multi-year strategic roadmap that allow stakeholders to understand the availability of capabilities.
• Work with GTI Engineering team to assure capabilities are available, in parity with the strategic production offerings.
• Provide regular updates with respect to progress on tasks and projects.
