SBCaaS Migration Engineer

Job Description

* Understands MS teams voice connectivity well – specifically direct routing (MS certified engineers – some in the team preferred).
* Good understanding of SIP / IP trunking services / SBCs (Ribbon preferred / Cisco / others).
* Good understanding of AWS infrastructure (EC2, EBS, DX, VPN GW, DX Connect GW).
* Ability to draft SIP low level designs working with customer – migrate voice network traffic to SIP solution.
* Stand-up and configure SBC VMs on AWS cloud, configure PBXs.
* Verify VoIP service integration e2e.
* Experience in TN portability, trunk movement from on-prem to Cloud SBCs desirable.
* Understanding of Dial Plans, normalization rules, emergency location policy setting (E911), QoS setting, remote PBX assessment, analog voice gateway, API gateways.
* Experience in migrating skype for business to teams.
