Position Description:
Our Company’s Application Infrastructure department overlooks the following portfolio of programs in order to be compliant with Company’s policies and procedures, to avoid increasing costs to the firm, breach of security and poor user experience:
1.TAISC (Technology Asset Inventory: System’s Catalog) is an inventory of all the software systems in the Company.
Features include Registration, Updating and Annual validation of Internally Developed, Internally Developed based on 3rd party and External Systems. Systems must be registered in TAISC in order to comply with Company’s policies and procedures.
2.TEDI (TAM Entitlements Data Inventory) is Company’s repository and management interface of all persistent TAM entitlements data (management of Roles, Teams and Technology services)
3.Software EOL (End of Life) program involves identification of software assets in the Company’s organization that have reached the end-of-life product stage and to be remediated to avoid risks of compromised security, increasing maintenance costs and poor user experience.
We are looking for a passionate candidate who has strong communication skills, who can demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, has a willingness to take ownership and accountability to execute and deliver on goals, and has a strong commitment to high quality standards.
The candidate hired into this role will be responsible for working with the squad to deliver on our business priorities, while embedding and reinforcing Agile practices and behaviors as part of the overall delivery effort. Working with the Product Owner, you will support the work of the squad by maintaining the backlog and facilitating Agile ceremonies like stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
You will monitor team performance through the squad’s dashboard and help identify continuous improvement opportunities to help the team work better and smarter.
Responsibilities:
* Working with the squad to deliver on our business priorities, while embedding and reinforcing Agile practices and behaviors.
* Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
* Help removing impediments, safeguarding the team and framework, and optimize the team’s ability to self-organize.
* Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and best practices to progress the work of the squad.
* Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
* Maintaining and updating squad process metrics and artifacts to ensure accurate and transparent communications to Product Owner and other stakeholders.
* Helping your Product owner to manage and prioritize work through the backlog by reviewing and managing backlog items to ensure the latest work status is captured and updated as appropriate and ensuring work is appropriately balanced across team members and that all work is captured within the backlog.
* Work with the Product owner to align teams with the product vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information.
* Maintain awareness of the roles within the framework and identify gaps that would lead to anti-patterns.
* Remove impediments external to the team and guide the team to an optimum, sustainable velocity.
* Leads, coordinates, facilitates and/or guides all sprint ceremonies, depending on the meeting. These ceremonies include the daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint demo, sprint retrospective and backlog refinement.
Required Skills:
* Professional experience working on an Agile team; minimum 5 years
* Experience as a scrum master or SDM Role.
* Conversant in Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Frameworks.
* Familiarity with software development or technology infrastructure.
* Knowledge of industry-wide technology strategies.
* Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills; passionate about continuous learning to help the team evolve.
* Has a deep understanding of change management and demonstrated ability to support wider organization changes.
* Creates space for open discussions that can surface various viewpoints and can choose from multiple tools and techniques to reach a conclusion.
* Is a servant leader who fosters self-organization and a culture of ownership and accountability on the team.
* Ability to leverage skills from coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and more to serve the squad.
* Has a challenger mindset and passion to challenge status quo to find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas: encourages team to experiment.
