Job Description:

Quality Engineering Tester With Guidewire Suite With Automation Experience

What You’ll Do:
• Develop and execute integration test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand integration requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Perform end-to-end testing of integrated systems to ensure data integrity and system functionality.
• Validate data flows between systems and ensure accurate data mapping and transformation.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback from a testing perspective.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Report test progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in integration testing.

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:
Must Have:
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Data testing.
• Strong understanding of Data testing and functional testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Guidewire Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimsCenter, and ContactManager).
• Experience with JIRA integration using API.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

• Experience in Agile environments.
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.

• Experience in the Canadian Personal and/or Commercial Insurance industry.
• Excellent verbal and technical writing skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive projects to completion.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on integration testing
