HR Manager
Job Description
The Human Resources Department is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of policies and programs for organizational development, staffing, employee relations, labor relations, compensation, benefits, leadership coaching and training, talent development and performance management, payroll and HR regulatory compliance for the business.
This position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and administration of all aspects of Human Resources services for the Morrisville, NC, site. Key responsibilities include policy administration, staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee development and training, organizational development, HR regulatory compliance to meet the business strategies and customer requirements for the site.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Support general HR functions such as employee relations, performance reviews, and other HR projects
• Serve as a point of contact for site-based employees and managers regarding Human Resources policies, procedures and concerns
• Act as a liaison with corporate benefits to administer and explain employee benefits programs
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation, ensuring smooth onboarding for new employees
• Process and verify I-9 documents and other necessary employment paperwork
• Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
• Provide support to employees and managers regarding timekeeping system-related questions and issues
• Oversees employee file maintenance in compliance with record keeping requirements, both internal as well as regulatory
• Initiate and manage transactions in HRIS, including employee data updates and changes
• Assist with the maintenance and updating of employee CVs and resumes as needed
• Provide administrative support to the HR team, including document preparation, scheduling, and reporting
• Coordinate monthly site wellness events, promoting employee engagement and well-being
• Lead and support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to foster an inclusive and supportive workplace
• Support site wide events, communications and initiatives
• Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and provide summary and trending data
• Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information
Education or Equivalent Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline with at least 2 years of experience in Human Resources or in a role with directly related responsibilities
• Associate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline with at least 3 years of experience in Human Resources or in a role with directly related responsibilities
• Experience supporting a manufacturing environment is preferred
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Proven ability to handle change in an ever-changing environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to use required office equipment; specific vision requirements include reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen frequently
• Sustained sitting at desk or workstation with use of phones, computers and any other office equipment required for specified position
• Static stance/standing as required
• Lifting and operating in an office environment
