Job Description
Job Summary –
- Data acquisition:
- Find datasets that meet business needs
- Data processing:
- Develop algorithms to transform data into useful information
- Data infrastructure:
- Build and maintain data management systems, such as databases and data pipelines
- Data security:
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Data collaboration:
- Work with other teams to understand data requirements and deliver relevant datasets
- Data documentation:
- Maintain documentation of data processes, workflows, and best practices
- Data optimization:
- Optimize data infrastructure and processes for better performance and scalability
- Data analysis:
- Create analytical tools to provide insight into key business performance metrics
- Data visualization:
- Build data models and pipelines for research, reporting, and machine learning
Years of experience needed – 10 + years
Technical Expertise:
- Familiar with different types of data storage, including SQL and NoSQL databases
- Need to know how to use database management systems like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Change Management Methodology:
- Proficiency in ITIL or other recognized change management frameworks, including knowledge of best practices for managing change.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze potential impacts of changes, identify risks, and make informed decisions.
Stakeholder Management:
- Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across different departments and manage expectations effectively.
Problem-solving:
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the change implementation process.
Project Management:
- Basic project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor change initiatives.
Leadership:
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve successful change outcomes.
