Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team, focusing on technology infrastructure projects, particularly in Middleware infrastructure systems. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion. They will also be responsible for providing regular updates and comprehensive status reports to senior management, including CIOs and CTOs, using well-prepared PowerPoint presentations. Strong communication, collaboration, and people management skills are essential for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee multiple technology infrastructure projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets, to drive successful project execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and visually engaging PowerPoint presentations to senior management, including CIOs and CTOs, to communicate project status, risks, and outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative and communicative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and knowledge sharing.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary to ensure project success.
- Manage people effectively, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry best practices, processes, and standards.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management, specifically within technology infrastructure and Middleware infrastructure systems.
- Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale technology infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong presentation skills, with experience creating and delivering compelling PowerPoint presentations to senior management.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Ability to manage and mitigate project risks effectively.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in people management, including mentoring and coaching team members.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications, ITIL are a plus.
