Kanban Agile Delivery Manager

Position Description:
The ISG Architecture & Governance team is seeking a Kanban Agile Delivery Manager who possesses a general familiarity of architecture processes. The successful candidate will lead the team’s stand up with superior Jira Kanban skills, track progress against key milestones, proactively work with team leads to ensure prioritization of stories through delivery, and independently clear blockers and close follow ups. The role will also include assisting with operations for Institutional & Corporate Architecture Group (ICAG). In preparation for ICAG meetings, the candidate will relay communication to senior presenters and attendees, assist in preparing meeting materials, roadmap for future meetings, and track action items.
1) Meeting Coordination and Scheduling:
a) Prioritize, plan, and schedule meetings
b) Manage the ICAG calendar and ensure timely distribution of agendas and pre-read materials.2) Meeting Facilitation and Documentation:
a) Attend meetings to take detailed minutes, capturing key discussions, decisions, and action items.
b) Distribute meeting minutes promptly and ensure they are stored for future reference.3) Follow-ups and Action Tracking:
a) Monitor and follow up on assigned action items with responsible parties, ensuring timely completion.
b) Utilize Jira to provide visibility on progress and outstanding actions.4) Communication and Stakeholder Management:
a) Clear and consistent communication between stakeholders
b) Act as a point of contact for general ICAG admin related inquiries
5) Operational Support:
a) Organize and maintain governance documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
b) Identify and implement process improvements to enhance governance efficiency and effectiveness.
6) ISG Arch Ops Responsibilities:
a) Strong mastery of Jira and Kanban best practices
b) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience working with senior leaders
c) Experience in building roadmaps and tracking progress against key milestones
d) Possesses a strategic flexibility to implement project management approaches to ensure project success
e) Interdisciplinary background with a focus or demonstration of success in engineering, science, or finance/economics
f) Practice over theory. Active utilization of core Agile framework, successfully managing scrum teams
g) Proven ability to take ownership and challenge status-quo, improve process and drive results
h) Strong team spirit and relationship management skills
i) Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
j) Highly motivated, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change
k) Experience working in a global financial services firm and/or management consulting is strongly preferred
