Database/ETL Engineer

We are looking for experienced Database/ETL Engineer who will work on strategic implementation for IFPAT fleet initiatives and next generation data analytics for IFPAT applications. The position is for Montreal and the person needs to work closely with our development teams and internal clients in Mumbai, London, Montreal and New York. The candidate will be involved in all stages of the development life cycle from requirements gathering to development to post-release support.

Technical Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in implementing large scale data engineering projects.
• SQL experience is must
• Proficiency in one language Java/Scala/Python must
• Good working experience with RDBMS databases
• Prior Snowflake experience preferred
• Experience with informatica tools is preferred
• Experience delivering in Agile delivery model is preferred
• Experience in Apache Spark, Airflow, PowerBI/Tableau would be an added advantageNon-Technical Skills:
• Ownership/Accountability and desire to take on an expanded role over time.
• Eager to work with new technologies and apply them towards enterprise-level data solutions
• Capable of working with a global team and thriving in a team development environment
