The Enterprise Product Management (EPM) team serves a governance function, managing technology products lifecycle, whether developed internally or acquired from third-party vendors, including coordination with programs such as End-of-Life for specific stages. In an enterprise, where technology products serve both business-facing (e.g., collaboration tools) and development-facing (e.g., languages and storage) needs, EPM ensures alignment with business goals and enterprise strategies. It drives optimized investments, enables seamless integration with key systems, and promotes product reuse, empowering informed decisions around rationalization, spend management, and modernization. EPM focuses on making strategic product decisions, optimizing portfolios to reduce duplication, and driving alignment with EA to deliver sustained value across the organization.
Job Description:
The position is in a fast-paced environment and requires a strong individual that can operate autonomously and is execution-oriented. The EPM Product Management Enablement Lead requires a discipline and passion for data-driven management. EPM is split into two core 3 core functions: Program Management, Tooling, and Data and Analytics. As the Enablement Lead, you will be the bridge across all 3 functions, ensuring tight stakeholder collaboration and progress towards EPM’s key goals. In this role you, will participate both standard run-the-function activities which our team coordinates with product owners across Technology.
This includes:
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present the benefits of EPM to leadership, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and improved collaboration. Identify divisional champions to support the rollout.
• Collaborative Governance: Establish a Technology wide steering committee with representatives from all divisions to provide input, oversee decisions, and ensure alignment across the organization.
• Training and Enablement: Equip teams with training materials, tools, and dashboards for implementation.
• Adaptation for Local Needs: Allow limited customization of the framework to address specific workflows while maintaining alignment with firm-wide principles.
• Monitoring and Improvement: Use metrics and dashboards to track progress, adoption, and areas for adjustment.
In this role you will seek to both maintain the current level of deliverables and also seek to improve the functions through data integrations, process definition and improvement, improved teamwork and collaboration, automation, and defining or building business cases for new shared or common technology solutions to enhance the practice. An impactful Enablement Lead will possess analytic skills, be highly organized and detail oriented, develop data integration and analytic skills, and possess the soft skills required to communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and managers in Technology divisions.
Responsibilities:
• In addition to regular communication and cross-tower representation with stakeholders, Product Managers are expected to:
• Own the coordination, collection, and dissemination of specific artifacts including Roadmaps, Release Plans, and Product End of Life reporting
• Lead the EPM team’s Jira maintenance and reporting process, ensuring the team is focused on priorities related to EPM’s goals, as well as help resolving bottlenecks and dependencies
• Lead discussions with divisional leads to identify and implement strategies, measures aligned with EPM’s goals
• Engage with divisional leads and enable them to contribute to EPM’s definitions, processes and desired outcomes from a process and data perspective
• Participate in activities around Product Domain Strategy and alignment to business technology goals of the firm.
• Lead cross-product process definition, best practice formulation, coaching, training, or brainstorming aimed at improving teamwork and collaboration.
• Maintain collateral and presence on Roadmunk, Jive, Jira, Sharepoint, Product Catalog, and any other repositories.
• Recognize opportunities for improvement in the high-level Product Management process, and be able to encapsulate new ideas in business case materials that combine qualitative and quantitative measures
• Provide regular management reporting and informing the creation of dashboards and KPIs
• Be a team player, who’s customer-driven (internal business technology teams)
Qualifications – Required Skills:
• Experience in building reports, visualizations, presentations, business cases, process diagrams, and general documentation.
• Experience in communication roles including requirements gathering, marketing / communication materials, and customer presence channels (Jive, website, social, wiki)
• Proficient in Excel, Jira, Sharepoint, Powerpoint, and other standard productivity tools
• Team player, with an energetic personality, quality-minded, focused, committed, able to work independently in a fast paced, matrixed organization.
• Comfortable with management by influence
