Java/Scala Developer
Job Description
We are looking for a candidate starting with 5 to 7+ years of experience on Java development
Institutional Technology team of our Company is looking for an experienced Java/Scala developer for its Data Governance and Data Quality(DQ) platform core team, whom will have a sound knowledge of Spring and SpringBoot, Restful API, Unix and Shell.
The candidate will be working on design and development of our next generation, state of the art Data Quality and Metadata Management platform.
This platform captures DQ Exceptions generated by diverse upstream applications in different formats in most optimal way, and then downstream applications should be able to extract these violations through RESTful services efficiently.
The Candidate will be part of the Java/Scala core development team, engaged in design, implementation, and maintenance of a wide array of tools comprising the DQ platform. They will also closely work with BI reporting area to generate various dashboards and other core team members for DQ rule design and execution.
The DQ/Governance platform is currently used by many systems across the breadth of the Company, in Institutional Securities, Firm Risk, Finance, Compliance and Operations Technology.Also, the candidate will be involved in enabling existing projects/libraries on the cloud.
Skills Required:
– Experience in Java/Scala development

– Exposure to Git and Jenkins CI/CD pipeline

– Finance domain knowledge
– Self-starter with ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to work on multiple projects
