Position Description:
Our Customer has a need for an experienced and growth minded z/OS Systems Programmer. Expert-level systems programmer staff analyze, create, implement, and support cutting edge technologies in support of our customer base.
Required Skills:
The successful candidate shall have 5+ years of z/OS Systems Programming. Other requirements for the position include: • Experienced in z/OS systems programming support and maintenance • Experienced z/OS installation • SMP/E knowledge and experience • TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL knowledge • TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly issue by MPO
Primary job duties:
Job Duty 1 z/OS installation 50%
Job Duty 2 Diagnosing system operational problems quickly and effectively. 25%
Job Duty 3 z/OS programming 5%
Job Duty 4 Providing reliable and efficient maintenance, for all managed systems. 15%
Job Duty 5 Storage management 5%
Certifications required (if any):
Required: Comptia Security+ or Network+
